sammy & craig - a downtown las vegas rooftop elopement

aaah, Sammy and Craig. What a feeling I got from! I love when you can feel the love between a couple. A love that is just electric and powerful and the kind that lasts to the end of  all the days.

These two have known and loved each other since they were young, which is rare. And to have a love that powerful after that long, is even rarer.

We had so much fun wandering downtown Las Vegas, we cruised the streets and played and created straight magic!!! We ended the night on a rooftop for a perfect Flora Pop wedding with Victoria, complete with a cacti altar and music!!!! (And donuts and champagne because hellooooooo) The sunset put on quite a show for us and the entire perimeter of the city stormed with electricity (the lightning kind).. but thinking back I'm pretty sure their energy just brought it all on in the most beautiful way.

On top of being totally infatuated with them as a couple, we created GOLD together!!! I can't wait to share, so here goes:

Officiant/Altar Design: Flora Pop

Donuts: Donut Bar Las Vegas

meike & rene - las vegas desert elopement

I learned why so many couples choose to elope in Vegas. It used to be because they were drunk and in love and $200 could get you bound for life. Luckily, that is changing. We have the opportunity to go literally anywhere we want. We don't need a chapel, or an audience, or even a witness (your photographer works!!).

In other parts of the world, especially in parts of Europe , you are confined to either marrying in a church (which sucks if you aren't religious) or in the government building (which sucks if you want your wedding day to be special, at all). The fact that we can tie the knot here anywhere under the big beautiful sky, definitely brings people from all over.

Meike and Rene are from (you guessed it)- Europe! More specifically, Germany. We chatted about their reasoning for eloping, which I always love to hear :)

We had so much fun together, I love a happy couple who has no issues being silly or having a good time with complete strangers! They were officiated by Holly of FloraPop and they celebrated with the FloraPop standard of donuts & champagne. Enjoy!

marlou & gaz - colorful downtown elopement portraits

These two are from Australia stylish as all hell! I swear I get the best couples!

They opted for portraits alone after a big traditional style ceremony with family and friends. We hopped around between the Neon Museum and downtown Las Vegas. We got pushed a bit past schedule and ended up shooting with the city lights, which I'm not even mad about! A little mood never hurt anyone.

florals: City Blossoms

katie & eric's bright downtown las vegas elopement

When I envision my dream couple, I think Katie & Eric are probably as close as any couple could come! Their Vegas style is absolutely impeccable and their love is real and true and oh, so much fun. They opted for a little chapel ceremony and then portraits and champagne with me, Las Vegas elopement done right!
