I think the thing that stands out most about this wedding is the bride's dress was her mother's! I already wrote about this in my Instagram post, but I just can't get over it. My mom's wedding dress had shoulder pads, YES SHOULDER PADS. I know that was the style which is why this is so miraculous to me haha! This one has bell sleeves and is perfect in every single way.
The groom's details were fantastic too, from his gold sparkly socks to his jacket and finished with that scorpion bolo tie. I'll never be half as cool as these two, but luckily I got to tag along on their wedding day and pretend we are now best friends forever.
This city & desert elopement was absolute magic. We met downtown and wandered the sights before heading to the desert so they could say their vows. And then we finished the night off with some celebratory drinks! Maria is an aerialist, that will make sense about halfway down :) and Max is a musician and these two are what dreams are made of!

Weddings should be a celebration of love, and that's exactly what Nicole and Josh planned for their day. Not to mention they got married the night before New Years Eve and they rented out a nightclub to do it up right! They invited all of the people that love and adore them and their day was so damn beautiful! Nicole's vision was brought to life by an incredible team and I was so happy to be a part of it all.
This wedding started out at The Flamingo and ended in the desert with a much deserved preroll from one of the dispensaries! They tied the know at The Neon Museum with some close friends and family and then we cruised to the desert to catch the sunset. This wedding was one for the books!
PS- the bride painted the back of that jacket HERSELF! Heart eyes forevs

There's some special about at home sessions, be it families or couples or whatever. It's even more special when your home looks like this!
You might recognize Holly as part of the FloraPop team or maybe you follow her and all of her incredible art on Instagram. She's an all around creator and so damn good at it. It's no wonder their house is aesthetic perfection.
On top of the overall look of their images, Holly and Gabe are straight up couple goals. Their love is overflowing and their light is contagious. So stoked I got to document them in their first home weeks before they tied the knot!
I learned why so many couples choose to elope in Vegas. It used to be because they were drunk and in love and $200 could get you bound for life. Luckily, that is changing. We have the opportunity to go literally anywhere we want. We don't need a chapel, or an audience, or even a witness (your photographer works!!).
In other parts of the world, especially in parts of Europe , you are confined to either marrying in a church (which sucks if you aren't religious) or in the government building (which sucks if you want your wedding day to be special, at all). The fact that we can tie the knot here anywhere under the big beautiful sky, definitely brings people from all over.
Meike and Rene are from (you guessed it)- Europe! More specifically, Germany. We chatted about their reasoning for eloping, which I always love to hear :)
We had so much fun together, I love a happy couple who has no issues being silly or having a good time with complete strangers! They were officiated by Holly of FloraPop and they celebrated with the FloraPop standard of donuts & champagne. Enjoy!

I don't get to shoot many full blown weddings, and that's totally by choice! I really prefer documenting couple's who spend their wedding day doing it their way and not just because tradition says so.
So- when I met Lindsey and Ryan, I knew they were exactly the type of wedding clients I like to have. They cut a wedding pie instead of cake and we ran around on golf carts and I got to witness multiple dance-offs on the party floor. They also had a friend officiate for them, which has got to be one of my favorite personal touches. She wrote her own ceremony and it was funny and sweet and 100% "them". This day was cold and cloudy and just absolute magic. And did I mention Lindsey looks like a freaking supermodel???!
